Fulfillment Policy

At Cape Space Interiors, all of our products are made to order with care and precision. This Fulfilment Policy outlines how we manage lead times, order processing, delivery, and collections. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.

 

1. Made-to-Order Production

All furniture and soft furnishings are handcrafted based on your specifications. Production begins only once your design has been finalised and your deposit has been received.

 
1.1 Lead Time

Our standard production lead time is approximately 24 working days from the date of deposit payment and final design confirmation. Complex or custom builds may take longer. We’ll always communicate any delays in advance.

 

2. Order Process

 
Step-by-Step Fulfilment
  1. Design Confirmation – We finalise all details including dimensions, fabric selection, and finishes.

  2. Deposit Payment – A 70% deposit is required to begin production.

  3. Production Phase – Our team begins creating your piece in-house.

  4. Quality Check – Each item undergoes a quality assurance process before dispatch.

  5. Balance Payment – The remaining balance is payable before delivery or collection.

  6. Delivery/Collection – Your piece is sent out or made ready for collection.

 

3. Delivery

 
3.1 Areas Covered

We offer local delivery within Cape Town and surrounding regions. National delivery may be arranged upon request.

 
3.2 Delivery Fees

Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and size of the item. Fees will be shared with you during the quoting process.

 
3.3 Delivery Scheduling

Once your piece is complete and your balance is paid, we’ll schedule a convenient delivery time with you.

 

4. Collection Option

Clients are welcome to arrange for collection from our showroom at 7 Platinum Drive, Brooklyn, Cape Town. Please ensure you bring appropriate transport and manpower for larger items.

 

5. Delays and Force Majeure

We strive to meet all estimated timelines, but delays can occur due to material shortages, supplier delays, load-shedding, or events beyond our control. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

6. Product Variations

Each piece is handcrafted, and slight variations in colour, fabric texture, or finish may occur. These are not considered defects, but part of the charm and uniqueness of custom furniture.

 

7. Returns and Exchanges

Because our products are made to order, we do not offer returns or refunds.
